What is a Periodic Inspection?

The goal of a periodic inspection is to identify and report any routine and preventative maintenance to the owner. A secondary aim of the inspection is to ensure that the tenant is maintaining the property in a clean, neat, and tidy condition as per the residential tenancy agreement.

The routine inspections are completed by our property managers who in turn report to the owner. A routine inspection is carried out on all tenanted properties within the first 6 weeks after the tenant commences and quarterly thereafter.

The tenant will be notified a minimum of 7 days and a maximum of 14 days before the inspection and is not required to attend the inspection, but can be present if they would like.

If you cannot be present at the time of the routine inspection, please ensure that you have reported any items of concern to your property manager before the inspection takes place via email, or through your Tenant App

If pets have been approved at the property, you will need to ensure they are secured on the day of the inspection, or someone is present during the inspection for the safety of our property managers.
